Lucy is an active cosplayer of akihabara events. She has won over many fans with her beautiful smile (A/N: and other curves) and is now currently a second year at Kibo Shinosuke High, with a special course for voice acting.
After suffering depression shortly after birth, her natural blond hair was lost. In it's place, was black hair. It was an unexplainable cause- the doctor was at a loss for how to explain it. The pigment DNA abruptly changed hue- and it was not at just the hair. Her eyes, pure almond nuts to dark amethyst? Adding on to the strange phenomenon was yet again a strange syndrome, that, after noon, her eyes would change color temporarily to bright vivid red. At it's worst stage, her heart would bleed internally.
The winter before middle school started, Lucy met a salmon-haired, self-proclaimed dragon slayer. At that time, she was undergoing futile surgery in some hospital and ended up with a new phase- that, throughout winter, her hair would be pale white, matching snow with translucent clear eyes.
This new herself that wasn't supposed to be her, Lucy felt like there was 2 persons inside her body. She wasn't sure of what to do. But meeting him, who she eventually forgot his name, gave the new her confidence. She nicknamed herself as Lisanna.
This is the backstory of this fanfic's protagonist Lucy Heartfilia.
It was monday, the most hated day of the week for everyone, even Lucy. She trudged to school in slow motion because heck, not everyone was excited to learn in prison.
Making her way past the iron gates and the vice principle's stare, she climbed the stairs to her first period class. Upon making it on time, she made her way to the window corner seat and took out her samsung galaxy, with earphones still attached. In the midst of scrolling through her twitter timeline since she started cosplaying, she heard familiar footsteps and looked up.
As expected, it was her childhood friend Gray Fullbuster.
"Another all-nighter?" He nodded while yawning and Lucy made a pft. "So is it student council work or SAO?" He blatantly ignored the question and took out his ipad mini. Knowing him, Lucy figured that this must meant he was gaming again. Taking out a ramune flavored candy, she tossed it to him just past his shoulder (she sits behind him) and confirmed the sound of wrapper ripping.
It wasn't much before their math teacher came in and taught class as usual. It wasn't just Pythagorean theorem anymore, it was now sincostan. Of course, the real question yet to be asked was how to pay taxes.
Time flew by pretty quick only because our main character here ended up sleeping for 2 periods. English came before lunch but this time Lucy was awake.
"Alright guys! Today's lesson is to write about first love. Any literate piece will do."
Other students groaned, ignored the assignment, or proceed to cut class.
Lucy was the only one to show efforts. (Gray scribbled some haikuu)
