My first day at a new American high school and all the kids here are in clicks, movie style. Seriously. So naturally I will sit alone today, again movie style. But will I meet a whole load of friends soon? Unlikely. I went about my lessons getting a few curious glances but mainly evil sneers. Okay not evil but, you know. Lunch came and, as predicted, I sat alone. I looked around and noted all the groups- Jocks, cheerleaders, musicians, emos, poshtottys and then this group of freakishly pale kids. Maybe they count as emos? I thought to myself. They looked like really cheap imitations of Hollywood's vampires with their pale skin and, I admit, perfectness. Whilst I was musing over this I swear I saw the one guy look over and laugh. Freak. He sat with four others, two girls and two boys. Anyway, I can't see me fitting in with any of these groups, but that's what they all say, right? I had two more lessons after lunch; my first was higher level biology. Hopefully barely any people would be in this class as it was higher level. When I got to the room only one other person was there, just some random cheerleader, who'd have thunk it? I was waiting for more people to come when the whole group of the pale emos walked around the corner. Shit. They went in and I followed as the bell had just gone. I went up to the teacher and was told to sit next to the small, pale girl with the pixie hair. She moved her things over obligingly. The cheerleader sat on her own with the big, pale guy – who I now knew was called Emmett- next to the stunning blond girl, Rosalie. Across from them and behind me and Alice sat the guy who laughed earlier, Edward and Jasper a guy with a permanent scowl.
