~Kyoshi Island: Age 6~
Kyoshi was practiceing her firebending but she stop when she heard a humming noise. She saw a girl about her age who was carrying a basket of flowers. Kyoshi noticed the girl saw her firebending so she was surprised to see the girl comeing towards her. The girl was smileing and stoped infront of Kyoshi. "Hi your firebending moves were really cool!" The girl says with no fear in her voice. Kyoshi just stared at the girl, usally earthbenders were quite frightend by Firebenders, even though Kyoshi was the avatar the master of every element she was still working on her firebending which she has just learned. "Oh um thank you" Kyoshi manages to stumble her words out. The girl smiles "Im Nelli me and my mommy live here, I havent seen you around-
here before. Say whats your name?" she asks sweetly. Kyoshi grins "Well Im Kyoshi, and I doubt you have seen me before. I move around alot.". Nelli sits down infront of Kyoshi "You can sit down if you want." Kyoshi sits down still looking at Nelli, "Hey um if your an earthbender how come you werent scared that I was firebending?" Kyoshi says without thinking. Nelli just smiles "Well first off Im not a bender I just use fighting moves, and second why would I care if you were-
a firebender?" she asks with her head slightly tilted. "Well its just most people who live in the earth kingdom fear-
firebenders." Kyoshi says. "Oh well it makes no diffrence what group your from were all the same. We all have a heart-
and we all have feelings. My mommy told me that ^^." Nelli says boldly. Kyoshi smiles she rarely ever meets people like this but she enjoys when she does. ~about 15 minutes later~ "Nelli sweet heart its time to come back home!" a voice yells in the distance. Kyoshi's smiles fades away when Nelli stands up "I guess I have to go now Kyoshi" Nelli says sadly "I really like being friends with you!" Nelli takes a flower from her basket and goes up to Kyoshi, she puts the flower in Kyoshi's hair sweetly and smiles and picks her basket up. Kyoshi smiles weakly "I hope I get to see you again Nelli." Kyoshi's smile fades away sadly. "Im sure we will and when we do we can talk even more!" Nelli hugs Kyoshi's neck smiles then runs out of the forest. Kyoshi hangs her head sadly, she really was gonna miss Nelli and she wasnt even sure if Nelli would be alive the next time she came back to this island.
