Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters. I can only wish I own them.
Note: This is just a one-shot kind that I needed to get out of my system. The ending for FeMC really distraught me. I fell in love and got heartbroken at the same night. So yeah.
It's time to wake up, my dearest.
A gentle voice greeted her as she opened her eyes for the first time for some unknown time. She felt soft hands touching both of her cheeks delicately. As her eyes opened, all she can see is yellow. A silhouette of a man with a yellow cloth that clung on his neck. It took a while for her eyes to focus. She tried to move her arms, but the clang of chains echoed in the hall. She looked at both of her arms, she was still bound. And the he man disappeared. Who was he? And where was she? These thoughts resonate in her head.
It is almost time for you to go.
A voice popped in her head.
Go? Go where?
She replied.
Home. Everyone is waiting for you
Everyone?
She remembered everyone. Her friends. How could she forget them. Akihiko, Mitsuru, Junpei, Yukari, Ken, Aigis and Koromaru. Yes, her friends who fought with her. How she missed them. Aki, her heart felt that pang. She misses him the most.
...
Silence.
There was silence in the room.
She closed her eyes once again.
Darkness and solitude.
How long has it been?
You've been here for an eternity. It's time for you to go back
She felt the chains slowly being undone.
I can't leave you here. You have to come with me." she let herself fall into his arms. She felt that sense of longing and desperation. She would never leave Ryoji. She couldn't bear the thought of him being alone. He softly kissed her forehead and pushed her away gently. It pained him to push her away, to have that distance away from her.
How I wish I could. I do not belong in your realm anymore. My existence there will only bring upon the Fall once again
I don't want to leave without you. I will not." she pouted at him.
Maybe we can meet some other lifetime. "he forced himself a reassuring smile.
It's time for you to come home.
No, you can't do this.
He just smiled at her.
I love you." tears streamed her eyes.
There was a soft white light enveloping the room. He felt her hand slowly fading. He tried to hold her tighter as she slips away until he could feel her no more.
And that moment she was gone. He was alone again. But the thought of her happiness game him solace. That she would come home. That she would be happy. That she will fall in love once again, that she will be held by somebody else. It didn't upset him, it comforted him, that she will never feel despair, not with him. Ryoji finally sighed, a single tear fell upon his cheek.
Farewell, my dearest.
