"I also thought you might have questions about what happened while you were...away."
"Dick filled me in on most of it."
"I assumed he would."
"But there are some things I don't understand."
"Such as?"
"How did you escape the ring's power when you were a Black Lantern?"
"By using something I believe in more than death and hate. Something stronger than either."
"You're avoiding the question."
"Love."
"For Earth."

"You mean friendship. The love of friendship."
"No, Bruce. The love I feel for my sisters and my mother was insufficient. Not so the love I feel for you."
