Alone in the dark
Helena's P.O.V
Captured again Christie hit me in the back of the head. I don't know know where I am except I know I'm in a cell it's dark and I'm alone. "Ah finally awake are we?" I know that voice. "Donovan." I hear him laugh. "Oh good you can still think straight I was wondering if Christie hit you that hard." I feel anger deep pure anger at his happy tone. "Where am I?" He laughs again. "Somewhere that won't cause trouble. But like always you seem to be in the dark. Alone." "What are talking about? I've beaten you before and I will again!" "And how are you going to do that? You are in a cell and alone and I wouldn't hold out hope of a rescue." "Why?" He keeps laughing. "Because Helena there is no one left to rescue you." "What? What do you mean?" "It's quite simple really your ninja allies are too busy because their clans are about to be wiped out. That fool Zack is hiding. And Bayman doesn't care." But Alex. "Oh I forgot your pet sentinel is dead." "What he can't..." "Oh but he is I have his corpse in the medical wing right now and I must his DNA is amazing oh the things to be learned from him will give my alphas the power to conquer entire galaxy's." I collapse to my knees crying. He can't be gone he was so strong and smart and brave. And he was mine. He promised me he would never leave me. Oh God why? Why did he have to die? "Ah that sound so familiar." Christie her mocking voice. I don't respond I just keep crying. "Oh I take it you've heard about Alex. Just so you know he put up a good fight. Oh he must have killed at least ten thousand troopers before I got a shot in." That got my attention. "It's true I'm the one that killed him. I got in a shot will a bullet filled with a type of toxin that kills sentinels. Even after I got a shot in his heart he kept going it took three more shots to finally kill him." My anger turned into rage. I start hitting the door to the cell trying to rip it open and kill her she took my mother away and now my love. I hear her laughing. "Oh I wouldn't try that that door is at least three feet thick." I scare in my rage. All I feel is the darkness closing in then my world went black.
A few hours later
I hear an alarm. And a voice. "Code red alert all personal evacuate immediately." I hear Donovan on the intercom. "Where is he?" then Christie's voice. "I don't know he seems to be..." Then a third voice. "Right behind you." "Christie perhaps we should take are leave." "Oh don't go so soon. I haven't even started to have fun yet." I don't believe it Alex I should have known he would have survived. "Now where is Helena?" "Why don't you go find oh and you have an hour before this place explodes." I hear Alex growl. "Fine but next the two of you are dead." I hear him run out of the room.
About five minutes later
"Helena?" I hear him. "Alex I'm in hear." "Helena hang on." He rips the door open. I run to him and hold him. "Hey hey it's alright I'm here." "I thought I lost you." "Shh I'm here." the alarm said we had ten minutes before the place go up in flames. "Come on let's go home."
