Just a little something my muse won't let go of, why did Gibbs and DiNozzo seem so at ease in Baltimore.

Ellie lays her latest report on Tony's desk and looks at him for just a second. "I was wondering when did you first meet Gibbs?"

He smiles as he picks up the report.

Flashback fourteen years ago.

He walked back into the bullpen after being with the debriefing team all day. He was tired and hungry they didn't feed you much just sandwiches and coffee. He wanted real food, Osso Bucco, risotto and a spinach salad.

He went directly to the captain's office he wanted to let him know that he was done for the day and would be going home. It was a very long undercover assignment and he was lucky he got out of it on one piece. The best part was that he had earned his gold badge because of it, the bad part was that he had to leave Philly. It was just too damn hot and dangerous for him to stay there any longer.

Knocking on the open door he can see there are five men inside talking about with raised voices. When the captain looks up Tony walks in and joins the group.

"Sir, just checking in, I'm done for the day."

"Everything go alright?"

"It went, lawyers and such, the feds are something else."

"What about him, Captain?" One of the men in the office asks.

The other men in the office give Tony the once over. "It might work Captain just in and out, put him in a tight jeans and a tight tee shirt it could work."

"Do what, and do I have a say?" Tony asks.

"We have a small problem we have a federal agent from NCIS here looking for a man that killed a Marine. This agent is a piece of work all gung ho and a bastard tossing his weight around like he owned the place. The thing is we picked up the suspect in a raid while this agent went to Greg's bar and grill he got a tip."

" The gay bar?"

"Yes, all you have to do is go in make a play for him and get him out of there. We have a good relationship with the owners and want to leave it that way. They are good people, so are their patrons and they never say no when we need help and last year they formed a blockade when those crazies came to protest at that soldiers funeral."

Tony exhales slowly. " What's his name and what does he look like?"

Thirty minutes later Tony walks into the bar, he looks around the and goes straight to the bar after ordering a beer he spots Gibbs. He drinks half of the beer in one long sip, before he makes his move.

"You look like a man who might like to meet someone new."

Gibbs looks at Tony and growls, Tony just smiles then snuggles up closer he leans in close and wraps his arms around Gibbs' waist as he whispers in his ear.

"Play along, agent Gibbs, you need to leave this place, we picked up your guy."

Tony places kiss on his cheek then pulls away. "I like to eat before I play, I hope you're hungry." Gibbs says then he puts his hand into the back pocket of Tony's too tight jeans, and pulls him out of the bar.

They go straight to the Captain's office once they return to the police station. A quick knock on the door and they enter. "Captain here he is, I'm going to head out now."

The Captain looks and nods his head. Tony offers his hand to Gibbs, "Nice meeting you agent Gibbs. If I can ever be of any help, look me up."

After finding out that his suspect won't be released until morning, Gibbs does a little bit of investigating of his own.

He opens the door to the restaurant he spots Tony sitting in one of the side tables alone. Without being invited he pulls out the empty chair and sits down.

"The food any good here?"

"The best Italian food in town. You want coffee?" Tony asks with a smile.

He looks at Ellie and chuckles. " That's a funny story, Gibbs was working a case in Baltimore. I arrested him"

"I let you arrest me DiNozzo."

"You did at that boss, you did at that."

"I feel like Italian, come on DiNozzo you know where the best place is."
