So I was listening to the song 'Ours' by Taylor Swift, and it was just calling me to write a songfic. I was planning to attempt to move to another fandom, or another pairing, but I've ended up back here with another Scorose one-shot. I'm not quite sure when this is set, probably when they're around 20/21ish? Still in accordance with my When The Apple universe Enjoy! Bg. 97 xx

As Rose steps into the elevator at St. Mungos, she can't help but be stunned by the silence of all the strangers in there. It's so uncomfortable it almost makes her want to take the stairs. She breathes in the morning air, and takes a sip of the coffee in her hand. She giggles to herself as she imagines how much Scorpius would laugh at this small room if he was here. "Right now, my time is theirs," Rose sighs to herself and tries to get into the mind-set of work.

"Yes grandfather, I know this is an important family dinner, but I've told Rose that I'm going to hers tonight, so you're just going to have to make do without me." He pulls his head out the fireplace and rolls his eyes. It seems like there's always someone who disapproves. You'd think they'd stop judging by now, considering that he and Rose have been together since they were 15. The least his grandparents could do is stop pretending they know about him and Rose and then not make the effort to get to know her. Even his parents have grown to love Rose. It has got to the point where the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do. He knows in his heart that he chose Rose over those pureblood fanatics a long time ago.

Rose on the other hand, seemed to be immune to people's criticism of their relationship. Even back in the days when it was just a friendship, she knew that people throw rocks at things that shine, but it was never going to take away what they had. The stakes are high, what with how both their families are in the spotlight, but she knows that their love is theirs and not the media's. That had always been the case.

On occasion, she gets a bit scared. After all, you never know what people have up their sleeve. Due to the war, they both had so many ghosts in their past that could jump out of the shadows in which they're lurking at any time. Rose takes in a deep breath. That's the past. Right now, Scorpius is hers. And he whispers to her, in the early hours of the morning as they hold each other close, "Don't you worry your pretty little mind, they can't take what's ours."

Rose knows fully well that it's not theirs to speculate if it's wrong, and she is convicted of the fact that her hand belongs in Scorpius'. She's not going to let there be any room for people to doubt that they were meant to be together.

He looks at her and she is so beautiful. He is completely overwhelmed by her. All her little quirks and flaws just make her that much more beautiful to him. The gap between her teeth, the riddles that she speaks; everything that makes her so distinctly Rose Weasley. He especially loves the Scorpion tattoo that she got at the top of her spine as a sign of him. His father made many the snide remark about it, but Scorpius ignored every single one. He hated how much of a sap he had become, but his hearts was hers- completely and truly.

Don't you worry your pretty little mind,
People throw rocks at things their shine,
and life makes love look hard.

Don't you worry your pretty little mind,
People throw rocks at things that shine but they can't take what's ours
The stakes are high,
the water's rough,
but this love is ours.

Sorry it's so fluffy and cheesy. Was just giving something new a try. Hope it was okay. Please review! xx
