Chris stepped into the trailer, his mind set on the things he needed to say. Darren was sat cross legged on the floor, his eyes lighting up when he saw Chris come in. But then he saw the pain beneath them.

"Chris?"

No need to beat around the bush, he thought. "Are the rumours about you and Mia Swier true?"

Darren looked confused, but not shocked. He sighed, "I don't honestly have to answer that do I?"

"Actually you do!" Chris said, taking a deep breath to stop himself from shouting to loud. "Look, we've been... together privately for months, why won't you tell anyone?"

"It's our business. What's it to the world? It doesn't make much of a difference what everyone else thinks."

Chris broke, "Yeah, it is, but that doesn't mean its okay that the world thinks you're going out with some girl when really we're fucking and i'm in love with you!"

"She's not some girl! Mia's my friend and-" Darren started to reply, then replayed what Chris had said and realised what it meant.

Chris held his breath, watching Darren carefully. He had just told him he loved him, and he was sitting there staring.

He felt the tears start to well up, and turned to run out of the door. But just as his hand touched the handle, someone grabbed onto his other arm.

Darren was stood beside him, eyes full of emotion. He leant forward, kissing Chris softly on the lips and whispered "I love you too."

Chris felt the tears fall down his cheeks; Darren cupped his face in his hands and wiped them away.

"No more pretending." Darren breathed as he pulled Chris into a fiercer kiss, pressing against his body with enough passion to mould them together.
