It has been over 3 weeks since the Bounts attempted to destroy the Soul Society. The moon was high in the clear night sky, and everything was at peace. It was times like these when Captain Kenpachi meditated with his sword. Always trying to learn more about his swords name and it's power. But before he never got further than an hour into his calm state when...

"Kenny!" a small pink haired girl leapt into the Squad 11 Captain's stomach, knocking him over.

"How did you even find me?" Kenpachi inquired. "You can get lost in the shower"

"That's you silly, not me. I always know where you are."

"And isn't it past your bedtime?"

"Yeah and, it's past yours too Kenny"

"Fine you got me. What do you want?"

"I want to battle you." Yachiru said with a wide grin.

"Ha, has this become some sort of ritual of yours."

"What do you mean."

"It's seems like every time I ever calm down and meditate with my sword. You come around and ask me for a fight right when I get close to talking to it." Kenpachi grunted "It's like you know exactly when to show up and mess with things. And by the way the answer is still no."

"Come on Kenny." Yachiru pleaded.

"No, I don't want you to get hurt."

"But..."

"No."

"Fine! How about this, as soon as your sword clashes with mine. I'll promise I won't bother you anymore while you're meditating."

"Alright, but I hope you know what you've gotten yourself into. As a member of Squad 11 I won't go easy on you."

"Yes and as a member of Squad 11 neither will I." Yachiru giggled

Yachiru went off back to her quarters, leaving Kenpachi to relax in peace. Although instead of meditating he ended up falling asleep.

"Captain Zaraki!" a voice awoke the captain from his slumber. "What are you doing in the Squad 8 barracks."

"I needed a place to meditate, Nanao." Kenpachi replied

"Just wait until I tell Captain..." She was interrupted by another voice this one masculine

"There's no need to, I'm already here."Shunsui Kyoraku had just walked around a corner in the squads gardens. "So what seems to be the problem Nanao."

"Well, Captain Zaraki here has commandeered the barracks' garden for his personal use.

"And what use is that?" Captain Kyoraku asked

"Meditation." Kenpachi answered.

"I don't see the problem with that."

"Yes, I understand that you think meditation is important, but you do it in your own barracks not..."

"Well if this wasn't my barracks I'd break in here for meditation to." Kyoraku looked up at the blooming trees. "Especially this time of year, with all the trees blooming."

"Yes Captain." Nanao bowed a walked off.

"Now Kenpachi don't you have somewhere to be right now?"

"What do you mean."

"Well word has it that you and your lieutenant are going to have a sparing fight."

"Yachiru can't keep her mouth shut can she." Kenpachi gritted his teeth.

"Well I don't know about that I think she's just excited that you to are finally going to battle."

"Whatever. When does this rumor say we're going to battle?" Kenpachi asked

"Five minutes." Kyoraku answered

"Shoot" Kenpachi shot up and started running.

"Other way Kenpachi"

"Shut it."

Hello there good fans of the great Purrich I know this story wasn't planned so consider this a surprise Easter Egg. Sorry for being slow at updating stories but I'm getting better.
