I don't own Wizards of Waverly Place
Alex had been sick for a few days now. It started when Justin won the competition. He got to keep his powers. Alex and Max lost their powers. Alex got up to congratulate her brother and fainted in his arms.
"DAD WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER," Justin asked in horror.
Jerry sighed.
"It would appear that she's suffering from magoloss diflicater."
"Whoa whata," Justin asked as they got home.
"Magoloss diflicater," Jerry said, "it could be nothing or it could be fatal"
"Fatal, as in she could die?"
"No fatal as in the fate of an ill," Max said sarcastically, "I thought you were the smart one"
"Shut up Max," Justin and Jerry said together
The next morning when Alex woke up it was obvious her magoloss dificater was worse. She was the color of light blue, couldn't speak correctly and was dead tired.
"Dad what's wrong with her," Justin asked a few days later.
"Every 1 in 3,000 cases a wizard who loses his or her magic gets sick. In this particular case Alex has developed this illness. She's going downhill fast. Dr. Marrian gives her 2 weeks if that"
Justin looked at his younger sister. Her breathing was shallow. She was a lighter blue color.
"Isn't there anything that can be done for her," he asked practically begged.
"I don't know Justin," Jerry said gently, "only a miracle will get her well"
"Or," Justin said, "powers can heal her"
"Yes but she doesn't have her powers"
"I want to give her my powers," Justin said.
"What?"
"Dad she's my sister… I can't lose her"
"Are you sure about this Justin," Jerry asked, "you love your magic"
"I do love my magic," Justin said, "but I love Alex more. My sister means more to me then my magic."
"I'm proud of you Justin," Jerry said.
"I'll have to do a make-em-up"
"Since I don't want my sister to die
"Give the magic to her from I"
Everyone in the family looked as the color came back to Alex's face and she quickly regained her health. Magic didn't save her however. It was the true magic in her brother's heart.
