Lost Friendship
Here I am sitting near the windowsill,
Crying silently wishing that the wounds inflicted in my heart would heal.
Then I heard the raindrops falling,
But then it disappeared and all I could hear was her calling.
I close my eyes as tears fall on the ground,
And suddenly there was no sound.
As I rest my hand on my chest memories flooded through my head,
But "It hurts…" was all I had said.
Before I was happy just having lots of friends,
But I felt even happier having her as my best friend.
We were there for each other through good times and bad.
We've shared laughter, tears and memories we had.
Too bad though 'cause that was in the past,
And it really saddened me that it didn't last.
Our friendship ended because of a guy,
Who has raven black hair and obsidian eyes.
Author's Note: In this poem, Ino was still a child studying at the Ninja Academy maybe at the age of 7 or 8. She was in her room depressed when Sakura ended their friendship just because she found out Ino also likes Sasuke. She then treated Ino as her rival which saddened Ino. On the 3rd line when she heard the raindrops falling that means it started raining. After the 8th line she then stated what she felt when Sakura and her became best friends and how their friendship ended. I do hope you all like it! I'll accept any criticisms, suggestions and advice.
