Disclaimer: I don't know own anything to do with Twilight.

This is just a fluffy moment following Bella and Edward's wedding. I was avoiding an assignment by perusing Breaking Dawn and came upon Alice getting Bella ready for the wedding and noticed she mentions Jasper doing random tasks throughout. Knowing how Alice is about planning weddings, I imagined Jasper hadn't gotten to spend much time with his wife that wasn't wedding related. This is the moment he reclaims his wife.

A Fervour of Fire

As soon as I slipped the keys of the Volvo into Edward's hand, I went to my wife. I slid my hand into hers and tugged her back into the house. I felt her happiness and desire spike as she followed me up the stairs.

Once in our room, I closed the door and pushed her back against it, my mouth crashing into hers in a kiss that could have lit the house on fire. It had been too long since we had been like this. Her focus had been completely on making the wedding perfect and now that it was over I had my wife back. I couldn't wait another second.

I slid the silver skirt of her dress up, removed the lace she had underneath and lifted her up so she could wrap her legs around me. She moaned as we came together and I smiled as I looked her in the eyes, they were black with desire.

Afterwards she collapsed against me, her head falling forward onto my shoulder as I gently set her back on her feet. She seemed almost weak as she walked over to the bed and sat down. I kneeled in front of her and she leaned forward to kiss me gently. As she deepened the kiss I stood up and pushed her back onto the bed, crawling on to be with her. I was careful not to put my knees on any material of her dress. I rolled over onto my side and threaded our hands together as I spooned her body against mine.

"The wedding was magic Alice."

"Do you think they liked it?" she asked seriously.

"I think, besides ours, this is the best wedding you've ever done. You have made them both very happy." It was true; she had done an amazing job with Edward's wedding. I remembered back to our own wedding, how perfect she'd made it; how incredible it was to be bonded to the love of my life for eternity. I was glad she had been able to help our brother experience that too. I knew this had meant the world to him, restoring that bit of humanity he'd lost in death.

"We should go back down. They're going to notice us missing," she said, as she kissed my knuckles.

"I missed you," I whispered, as I let my mouth trail across her shoulder blade.

She shivered against me. "I missed you too." Then we stood up, keeping our hands together as we slipped from our room and back down to the backyard where the party was still raging. I looked up at my brother and shook my head at his knowing smile. Of course our whole family had known where we were. Most of them were polite enough to pretend they didn't.
