Snow…
Some said they looked lonely…like the rain frozen by time… Cold…
Some said they looked beautiful… like feathers of an angel falling from the sky…They hate it, they love it… But there are just some who wait for the falling of the cold snow.
Children…
Teenagers…
People who held important memories of it and wanted to never let it slip their mind… And a certain Hyuuga prodigy is one of them…
He watched as the pure white snow started to drop in the ground.
He looked up and stared at the sky. It seems to him that they are falling freely, slowly from the huge vast heaven. He felt a snow touch his pale white face. It was cold.
He closed his eyes and her image appeared on his mind.
She had always been like the snow. Her pale white eyes and smooth skin… her delicate features… they all reminded him of winter, the season she was born into.
And yet… She brought warmth…
Her prominent Hyuuga eyes were kinder and warmer than others. Every winter, she would dance in between the piles of snows, and he would watch, thinking of how she blended well with the season she was born in… Blended well…yet… not…
She always looked fragile and easy to break like a glass. She always looked as pure and innocent as white. She always noticed but not… She would struggle hard but often got acknowledgement.
She's much like the snow…
But she's not.
Because she's warm…
"Neji-niisan…" he heard her voice and felt her soft warm hands cupped his face. He opened his milky white eyes and saw she's there, smiling her beautiful smile that he never admitted he had always loved.
She's there… Standing in front of the marble block that holds her name.
"Hinata-sama…" he whispered as he looked into her eyes.
"Sshh… You'll be alright niisan… You'll be alright…" she said softly as she enveloped him in a hug, stroking his hair gently.
She is warm…
She vanished and a single tear fell into his cheek.
"Will I be alright without you… Hinata-sama?..." he murmured asking her.
As if to answer his question, a lone drop of snow fell on his left cheek
Odd… it was warm…
'Yes Niisan…I'll watch over you…' her answer rang into his mind.
Another single tear fell, followed by another and another. He fell into his knees and sobbed.
Hinata had always been like the snow…
Yet she's warm…
She'll always be warm…
Even after death…
'Hinata-sama…'
The snow continued falling… but he never felt alone… No… never again…
