PROLOGUE (APRIL 26, 2002)
He was walking down the hallway, striding confidently and grinning. He was in a good mood, he had returned from injury that week, and he would have his first match in six months tonight.
He entered the catering room, but didn't grab a plate. He felt too excited to eat. He settled for observing the empty room. His handsome face frowned. He was early... but he didn't know he was THIS early. Suddenly, he saw a flash of movement to his left. Startled, he turned his head to see a woman. Hmmm... he hadn't seen her around before. Her loose blonde curls settled halfway down her back. She was hunched over, rummaging through a bag. He just stared at her, almost certain she would feel his eyes on her. His theory was correct.
She sat up quickly, looking straight at him with wide dark blue eyes. She smiled, shut her bag, and walked over to him. He grinned as he looked her up and down, and there was no doubt he liked what he saw. She was slender, with long legs and nice cleavage.
"Sadie Carin." She said as she sat down, smiling politely. He just laughed.
"Chris Jericho."
