Ron woke up one night and looked out the window at the stars. He
couldnt get Hermione out of his mind. From the day she came to Hogwarts, he
fell in love with her. He loved her smile,the way she walked, but the thing
he liked the most was that she had a kind heart.

That morning, Ron went to breakfast. He sat across from Colin , who was
talking to Ginny. Ron watched Hermione eat. He was blushing and he didnt know
it. The whole Gryffindor table was watching him. Ron couldnt take it. He had
to get to know her better but before he had a chance to go talk to Hermione,
Hermione had left.

Ron looked around to find out where she had gone to. He looked at
Harry's seat, which was empty. Ron went to go find Hermione.

He hadn't gone far when he saw Hermione and Harry walking by the lake,
talking.

Rons heart sank. A tear ran down his cheek. He ran to his room and didnt
come out for the rest of the day.

Harry and Hermione were talking about how Harry should approach Cho
Chang, Harry's latest crush. Hermione was telling Harry that he would have to
open his heart to her. Hermione also told Harry that him being famous wasn't
going to help him this time. Harry knew this and listened to Hermione's every
word.

It was around dinnertime when Ron went to the lake an sat near it. He
was thinking why he had to live in the shadows of his best friend, who was
the famous Harry Potter. Ron hadn't been there long when there was a scream
from the Great Hall.

Ron ran there as fast as he could to find Hermione's body, laying still
on the floor with everyone gatherd around. Hermione was rushed to the
hospital wing. Ron stayed by Hermione all the time, caring for her, doing
her work that she would be missing, but Hermione just lay there. Ron would
run in between breaks from class, checking up on Hermione. At night, Ron
would use Harry's invisibility cloak to see Hermione. He would stare at her
with tears in his eyes, praying that Hermione would wake up.

The next week, Hermione wasn't doing any better. Ron gave up classes to
be with her. He stayed, pacing the floor, watching to see if there were any
changes in her movement. Harry would come by to visit Ron and Hermione, to
try and cheer up Ron. Harry had tried getting Ron to go see him play
quidditch, but Ron would say no and stay with Hermione.

One day, Ron needed to go and get some sleep, so he went to his room.
The next morning, he went to the hospital wing to find Hermione hugging
Harry.
