(A/N: This story was by request of my speech pathologist, who sent me a list of Christmas related questions and I gotta show her at some point. If there are names unfamiliar to you, they're my upcoming OCs)
At Laughy's, some of the people, including Hayden, who doesn't know much about Christmas but still decided to listen, were about to watch Gewuji, who was at the karaoke stand, about to listen to her sing as the music had just started. "#Rocking around the Christmas tree, At the Christmas party hop.#" Gewuji sang. "#Mistletoe hung where you can see, Every couple tries to stop...#"
Lloyd soon sat down next to Hayden as he was listening while holding a glass of eggnog. "How are you doing?" He asked.
"Okay, so far." Hayden replied as they listen to Gewuji sing. "I don't know much about Christmas, but it seems great. And you?"
"Well, it seems like an okay season, though I'm not into the celebrating season. What are you looking forward to the most next year?"
"Spending time with Gewuji, of course. See what activities we should do, after 20 years of not doing any real fun."
"I know how it feels to lose family, even if my father was brought back from the dead. Oh, so about spending time with Gewuji, do you get time off work?"
"Just two weeks."
"Good for you. Master Wu wants me and my mother to go fishing with him over Christmas."
"Do you enjoy it?"
"A little. But, it might be a great distraction because of what Rumi and the Sons of Garmadon did. You should give it a try."
"Yeah, I should." They soon notice Jay and Nya coming up to them, also having glasses of eggnog. "Hey, Jay, Nya."
"Hey, Hayden." They both said.
"Oh, Nya, how's your brother? I don't see him around."
"He's helping Skylor at the restaurant." Nya said. "Most of her staff are on Christmas break and she was in desperate need of help."
"Finally got to spend some time with her, eh?" Lloyd asked.
"Something he really was desperate for." Jay replied. "Spending time with the girl of his dreams."
"Just like you and me." Nya said, teasing her husband before lying her head on his shoulder. "Are you going away over the Christmas break, Hayden?"
"Spending time with Gewuji." Hayden replied, pointing to her. "And you two?"
"We're gonna spend time with my parents." Jay said.
"And the others? I don't see them here either."
"Zane said he and P.I.X.A.L. are gonna go to Zane's lighthouse, see it they can get it ready in case we need to go there again, Cole will be with his father and the Royal Blacksmiths on tour, Maggie's spending time with her father and Blake and Cirrus will be helping Cyrus Borg build some inventions."
"And Geoff?"
"He wanted to be alone, spend some time in Birchwood Forest."
"He's still not used to being blind." Nya said.
"Well, you know how I understand visible and hidden scars."
By then, the song had finished and everyone applauded as Gewuji came over to Hayden and sat down on him. "Hey, there." She said, taking his eggnog and scowled it down. "I'm gonna have Dareth put on some Christmas tunes that would make us get off our feet. Want to join?"
"I don't know how to dance."
"Come on, it'll be great."
"Okay." At that moment Dareth had just turned on the Christmas theme music and some couples, including Jay and Nya, came out to the middle of the bar to dance as Hayden reluctantly came with Gewuji. "Show this newbie how it's done."
