Time just slipped right through our fingers

AN: This is my first thing posted on a site like this. It's just a poem I wrote a while ago. I write a lot of poetry and my muse led me to start writing some doctor who themed work. Hope you like it!

Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own doctor who. cries Oh well.

We said forever and a day,

But things didn't work out that way.

It wasn't anybody's fault.

Time

I wonder what you're doing now.

I hope you're hearing me some how.

Please read between these lines,

Time just slipped.

I think about you every day.

If I could see you I would say

Everything you mean to me.

Time just slipped right through.

Hands holding on so tight,

Running through the endless night.

I hope once more to see your face.

Time just slipped right through our fingers.
