It all started out so innocently.
Schoolyard friends.
Not even friends at first.
Brought together by mutual hangarounds.
They both liked staring contests.
Either could kick your ass at blackjack.
They were the quiet ones, brought together.
One problem, though.
Neither had the balls to do anything about it.
