Dean Thomas: Eddie Thawne (Iris's boyfriend)

It was a bright day. Harry was watching the news on TV. Today was the grand opening of the future technology. Dr. Dumbledore was on TV, at S.T.A.R. labs, presenting the presentation. Many people were watching. Harry went to the lab, not wanting Detective McGonagall to notice. Suddenly, he saw a huge attack at S.T.A.R labs. There were orange lights all over the city. Then he could see no more.

-9 months later-

"Harry, Harry, wake up!" Hermione cried. There were gadgets everywhere.

"Where am I?" Harry cried. He had tubes all over his body. "What is this? What time is it?" He asked everyone. There were three people in the lab.

A boy rushed in, feeling Harry's heartbeat. "I am Ron Weasley, this is Hermione Granger." He pointed to the girl. "You are at S.T.A.R. labs," he told Harry. Harry gasped when he heard S.T.A.R. labs. Just then, Dr. Dumbledore came in.

"Dr. Dumbledore!" Harry cried. Harry admired Dr. Dumbledore since he was young. The man he saw wasn't standing up but was sitting in a wheelchair. "What happened?" Harry asked.

"The day I presented the energy weapon, it exploded. You were struck by lightning, and I was….." he looked down at his wheelchair. Harry got up and looked at his body.

"Lightning gave me abs?" He asked. He had a six pack now. He lifted his arm and saw muscles.

"Well….." Ron started, but Hermione interrupted. "Yes, that is the strange thing. We don't know what happened to you, but we are sure many other people are like you."

"Metahumans, we call them," Ron explained. "They are suddenly different."

Harry looked around, alarmed. He had to tell this to Ginny. He rushed out of S.T.A.R. Labs. He ran to C C jitters. He found Ginny there.

"Harry!" Ginny cried. She hugged him tightly. "Why didn't S.T.A.R. labs tell us you were awake? You were so close to dying, you know. We nearly lost you. Your heartbeat always stopped. Then, when Dr. Dumbledore realized you were in a coma, he took you to S.T.A.R. Labs." Ginny had tears of happiness. She was so happy. A smile spread across her face. Harry was alive.

"I'm all right, Ginny," Harry replied, reassuringly. "I just woke up, thought about you, and rushed out. S.T.A.R. labs didn't have time to call you. I'm all right, I'm all right." He squeezed Ginny so hard. He was so happy both of them were ok.

Beep! A message came from Ginny's phone. "Oh, Dean Thomas invited me on a date. I'm sorry. Our relationship had been going really well." Ginny apologized. She hugged Harry again.

"It's fine, Ginny," Harry replied, but inside he felt heartbroken. His crush had another boyfriend. He went out and hung his head down. Suddenly, his hand started to shake. "What is this?" Harry whispered, making his hand drag him to a wall. Harry ran back. In one second, he was on a police car's roof. "What is going on?" Harry thought. He ran back to the wall. He was quicker than normal. He was as quick as light! He zoomed around the city in no time. The Flash was born.
