Prologue
In return for a love so true

For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Forty-eight hours of nothing but what you say
It was short and not very creative but sweet all the same and had it not been for the shy expression on Zidane's face as he stood there, his hands clasped behind his back, eyes down cast and toe poking lightly at the carpet as the tail unwinding from his waist to for that trademark question mark when the boy was curious, Squall would have believed it all to be one cruel joke, with desired result that was all too clear. He gently pat the spot on the couch beside him as Zidane hopped on sitting crossed as his tail wound itself around the blonde's waist.
"So……?"
"So…what?"
Zidane gave a light huff, "What do you think!?"
Squall blinked glancing at Zidane and the sheet of paper in his hands and back to Zidane, "Oh.."
"Aghh! You're impossible!" Zidane fell back on the couch, his hands pulling locks of hair from its restraints. Squall let out a soft chuckle as he moved on top of his companion, pinning the genome's wrists on either side of his head, capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. The movement below his body ceased, and slowly small pink lips responded to the kiss, shyly at first then with more need. Hands wandered over eachother's bodies searching, carressing holding, until a moment later, Squall pulled away and stood, leaving his boyfriend lying on the couch dazed, out of breath, and very bothered.
"Does that answer your question?"
Zidane blushed as a grin slowly spread over his face, "Well it wasn't so clear… care to repeat it for me?"
His only reply was the sound of Squall's footsteps ascending the stairs.
"You're no fun!"
Sighing, Zidane closed his eyes with a displeased expression. For ten minutes he laid there until a thought struck his mind.
"I wonder what Squall's gonna ask me to do?"
Yes.. I know. Very short, but I promise the later chapters will be much much longer!
