a/n i was given a prompt on tumblr to write an erifef fic where feferi tries to dye eridans hair with faygo 0u0
this was fun to write
You giggled and grabbed the orange faygo from the pile beside the pillow on which Gamzee and Karkat were sleeping. You were bored and needed something to pass the time with, and everyone else was busy or asleep. Tiptoeing passed the two sleeping trolls you walked quietly down the silent hallway. Doorway after doorway you continued to walk until you finally reached a light purple colored door.
You quickly slipped into the bedroom and noticed that he was asleep still. He was always such a heavy sleeper compared to the others. Pulling the faygo out from behind your back along with a comb you crawled over to where he was laying. You knelt down to get closer to his hair and opened the bottle of faygo, holding your breath as the bottle let out a hiss when it was opened. You let out a small giggle as Eridan mumbled something about landwellers in his sleep.
You propped up his head with a pillow, careful not to rub his horns against anything. You dipped the comb into the orange soda and began to comb it through his slicked back hair. To be honest, you were probably doing this wrong, but Terezi had somehow managed to do this to her hair and you wanted to try it on someone.
As you continued to pull the super sticky soda through his hair, he began to stir in his sleep and his breathing began to change. Leaning away from him you hid the comb behind your back and tried to close the faygo, but because you were in such a hurry you somehow managed to spill it all over Eridan, probably staining the cape he had been using as a blanket.
Eridan woke with a jump and looked from you to the cape and back. "Wwhat the fuck are you doin Fef?"
You stuttered to explain it was just meant to be a joke, but when he pulled a mirror out from beside him and he saw the bright orange in the now half orange half purple streak you couldn't help but laugh at him. "Oh my GLU-B! Your face is PRICEL—ESS!"
"Oh shut up Fef." Eridan said his face flushing purple.
"You know Eridan, I don't think it looks that bad." You said to cheer him up.
"Really Fef? I think it looks horrible"
"I know Eridan, I'm trying to glubbing help!" You said and punched him playfully. He shrugged away from the punch but you forced him into a giant hug. "I L-OVE you Eridan!"
"I love you too Fef." He said looking away from you.
