::~ Okay, now I'm going to make sure this one IS a one-shot. I have a habit of saying that A chapter is going to be a one-shot, but it ends up turning in to story.

Title: Simple, Do as I Say

Summary: Katara and Zuko have been married a year. They're still trying to figure out how to make it work. Zuko's a bit stubborn, and Katara's -well. Bossy is an understatement.

Katara hummed her favorite song, Only Hope by Mandy Moore, softly under her breath. Zuko was in the bathroom taking a shower, and honestly, she preferred it that way. They loved each other, sure, but they had a weird way of showing it. They were complete opposites, what would you expect?

Katara continued to hum, while she fluffed the pillows on their large white bed. She loved it when she could lose herself in the pillows. Zuko, however, hated having so many. But like many of their arguments, she won.

Half an hour later, she was done doing everything she could possibly do in the room. Zuko was still not out of the bathroom, and honestly, she was more than a little ticked off. She got up and banged on the door, yelling, " Zuko, come out!"

She heard a muffled groan and then heard something crash. Katara's eyes widened to the size of saucers.

" Zuko? Are you okay?" she asked, already getting worried. She heard him shout that yes, he was okay. She sighed in relief. But it didn't last long enough. She was back to being angry.

" Get out of there! You've been there for hours!" she said, banging on the door once again, with renewed vigor. She didn't understand why her husband didn't listen to her the first time. Honestly, was it so hard for people to do what she said?

She stood away from the door once she heard it open. A wet, and very hot angry Zuko stepped out. " Can't I shower in peace?" he snapped. Immediately Katara's defenses shot up. " No, not when you take two hours." she responded. Zuko rolled his eyes. His wife was impossible. He walked over to their armoire and pulled out his pj's. He walked back in to the bathroom and changed, ignoring Katara's threats, like always.

" Zuko!" she said. Zuko walked out, a bored expression on his face.

" You called?" he said. Katara had enough.

She pounced on Zuko.

Or, at least tried to. It didn't work out, because he sort of caught her, and they tumbled onto the bed. He immediately had her pinned. She tried her hardest to buck him off, but to no avail.

" Arrg!" she yelled in frustration.

Zuko smiled. He loved it when she was angry at him. She had the cutest little dimples and her face became flushed. Those large sapphire eyes looked mesmerizing when she was pissed. It was the only reason why he allowed her to get angry so often.

Katara didn't know why his expression changed so quickly, but she wasn't going to let him off the hook. Not this time.

" Kat, I'm a big boy. I don't need you to tell me what to do, okay? I married you because I love you. Not because I needed a mother."

Katara simply stared, processing what he said. Both statements were true. " I know but-"

Zuko gave her the most profound and loving kiss he could muster. Katara was breathless, and honestly, Zuko preferred it that way.

" How can I show you that I love you?" Zuko asked, wondering what he could possibly do to make his wife understand what he felt for her.

" Simple. Do as I say." Katara said, smirking. Zuko looked shocked, but quickly recovered.

" We'll see about that." he said, and proceeded to love her for the rest of the night.
