This world may seem peaceful on the surface. Normal lives in this world are different from normal lives in our world. For some people in the world full of dungeons, dragons, etc., it's sailing on merchant ships. For others, it's hunting through the forests full of different kinds of animals. And for others, it's farming on a plot of land. There are some people who get out of their normal lives. It just so happens that by strike of fate, each one of them is called to become an adventurer at the same time.
A razorclaw shifter named Rain found that his life had been uneventful. Steal gold for the poor, steal gold for the poor, and steal gold for the poor. A real group of Robin Hoods, but none of this excited Rain as much as it used to. It was easy for him. Rumors quickly spread throughout the land of an uprising against an emperor. Janzel, looking for some new excitement, decided to look on the inside, and left his old life behind to be the best avenger that he could be.
Kanatash, a cleric kalashtar, was been born on the astral plane of the Feywild. He had the knowledge of rituals and other training, but he had no means of actually putting them into practice. When he arrived in the this land, he was only able to make a living as a merchant. He wanted to put his arcane skills into practice, so he looked forward to fighting whoever was behind the uprising against the emperor.
Alston was leading the average life of a bard gnome from a wealthy family. He was a vocalist in a musical group called The Random Reference. His decision to go on an adventure had to do with the day of his birth. He and his parents were traveling in a halfling caravan when he was born, which was why he enjoyed the company of halflings. Shortly after his birth, an earthquake occurred. This was interpreted as a sign that Alston would someday change the world. He also hoped to go to the Feywild where his parents had lived. They left before he was born, and he was raised in a swamp, where he learned to swim. The members of The Random Reference intend to reunite someday. Until then, Alston would explore the world of fantasy as the other members performed solo and had their own adventures.
