Annabeth's POV
Bursting into the Poseidon Cabin, I yelled "Seaweed Brain! Get UP!" I'm usually not such a cheerful person. Happy yes, cheerful no, But being with Percy made me happy and Blissful. Anyway, I yelled for Percy again, still he did not respond. "PERCYY!". Still no response. "Come on you sleepy head. It's morning." I said. And yanked back the covers. The bed was empty. He's probably gone to the arena to say Hi to Mrs. O'Leary.
I got out of the cabin and walked towards the arena."ROWFF!" A very excited truck of fur jumped on me. "Hey girl. Have you seen Percy anywhere? "At the sound of his name she perked up and started romping around." Come on then, let's go find him." I walked to the Big house saying hi to a lot of demigods on my way. Camp half-blood has really changed in the last four months. We added a few more cabins and many were claimed by their godly parents. And redesigning Olympus was going well too. I quicked my pace and hurried on my way. "Hello my Child" said a deep voice." Hello Chiron. Have you seen Percy anywhere" I asked." No my child. Last I saw of him was last night." "Oh….Ok" I said crestfallen. It wasn't like Percy to leave me worried. I ran out, not caring about the fact that Chiron was calling my name.
As I ran, I passed Grover. "Hey 'beth! What's up?" "First of all, don't call me 'beth and second of all Percy's missing!" I exclaimed. "What? Are you sure you're not over reacting 'beth? Grover said smirking." I AM NOT!" I shouted. "PERCY'S MISSING!" "Ok. Now you're seriously over-reacting. Which isn't like you. So I take Percy's really missing? "Grover said his eyes wide with worry. "Yes" I said taking deep breaths to calm myself. One Mississippi. Two Mississippi. Three Mississippi. Phew. "You've gotta help me find him Grover." I said. I felt scared, like I was Seven again, hiding from the Cyclops. "I will" he promised. We searched the day.. First Calling, Then Shouting, then Crying (mostly me)" PERCY! PLEASE COME OUT! PLEASE!" I screamed Anguish ripping at my every cell. "Please." I whispered. "Please". By this time, almost the entire camp had joined in, leaving their activities. Everyone, excluding the Ares cabin. We searched and searched, but still no Percy turned up Yelling" SURPRISE! I WAS IN THE TREE ALL ALONG! HA HA HA!" or something. Finally Chiron asked us all to turn in and continue the search tomorrow." No I want to keep searching" I insisted. "No you won't Annabeth. You need your sleep if you wish to find Percy Jackson." Chiron said gently. I gave up. "Fine" I went to Cabin ^ and laid down with Daedalus' laptop. I ran a search for Percy. Refreshing every minute, to see if new news had appeared. Finally sleep grabbed me and I dropped of only to be welcomed into the world of demigod dreams.
