Insanity
By Sparklagal
Disclaimer: I own nothing that belongs to Marvel, cause then I'd be a stockholder or something, and I'd be rich. But I'm not (a stockholder) and I'm not (rich), so I obviously don't own anything having to do with the X-men. So don't sue, please? With Sugar bombs on top?
Authors Warning: I warn you, this Fic contains extremely weird things I think it has something to do with my new so called muses'. I am the proud owner of 5 gremlins including one of my own personage (RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!). I continue to hold blame with Vic, but now he can share it with these lil' buggers Enjoy!

Insanity
It seems that many people try to fight the inevitable. Mainly insanity. I have concluded that this is utterly impossible. Everyone has to embrace insanity for the sake of keeping their own sanity.
What a paradox.
Take our team, The X-men, for example: Although we have tried to help humans and protect them from renegade mutants (which we ourselves have been called) even thought they think of us bitterly and (on occasion) tried to kill us.
What can this be other then absolute lunacy? Why do we continue this nearly hopeless quest? I will tell you: A. Because we are completely demented. B. Because we're the kind of people who have legends told about them three thousand years after they are dead, we are the Moses' of our time. And who can tell, we may even have a bible written about us in the future.
What a frightening thought.
The dream is our life. We live to protect you, even if you may hate and fear us. Even if you may despise us, prosecute us and be prejudice. You can try to burn us at the stake (though with some of us it won't do you much good).
We will prevail. We will continue to fight for you, and ourselves. We will help you see the light. And eventually the friends and families will be reunited. The thoughtless pain will end. The insanity will end.
I thank you.

Logan grinned and leaned over to Jubes to speak over the booing.
"He's getting better at the speech everytime he gives it." Jubes nodded.
"Yeah, to bad you can't hear it over these idiots." She said gesturing to the yelling crowd.
"I just wish he'd change that last line. Insanity is one thing we'll never change, just this kind." Jubilee agreed again.
"I know, but still they don't know that." She said gesturing again to the audience. Logan chuckled and stood. Jubes stood as well.
"Ya got that right darlin, come on, let's get home, I got a beer with my name on it."
Jubilee and Logan walked out of the auditorium, leaving the hissing and booing behind, They knew Beast would get home all right, he always did.
Jubes sighed sadly. The speech was really so good. She hoped someday someone with enough sanity to appreciate it would hear it.
Or maybe with enough insanity
