Note: This is for Quil Explode's Unrequited Love Challenge. The challenge was pretty self-explanatory. You had to write a story about a person's unrequited love. I like the way this turned out, even though it's extremely sad, especially to me, because I love Remus. Anyway, hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to review.

Remus was laying awake tonight, much like every other night. He would always hear Sirius leave the room when he thought they were all asleep, and Remus wouldn't let himself go to bed until he heard him return. Tonight was different though. Remus could feel it. As his friend tried to sneak out of the dormitory, the werewolf was no longer satisfied with waiting until he got back. He had to know. He quietly got out of bed and opened James's trunk. He grabbed his friend's invisibility cloak and ran after Sirius.
He crept slowly behind him down hall after hall until they stopped in front of what Remus knew to be the Room of Requirements. Sirius entered and Remus had to dart after him to make it through the door before it closed. Remus gasped when he saw Lily Evans standing next to the bed. Lily was the one? How could Sirius do this to James...or to him? He watched the love of his life slip his hand into Lily's bright red hair as he kissed her hungrily. She returned the kiss with enthusiasm and pulled him on top of her on the bed.
Their clothes were quickly thrown to the ground and Remus knew he should look away. He knew he should leave, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. The scene in front of him was unfolding like a dream, although it was more like a nightmare. It felt surreal. Sirius cupped her breasts and squeezed her light pink nipples. Her hands were on his back and she moaned as he kissed down her neck. Remus would give anything to be Lily right now. He saw Sirius nibble slightly on the soft skin. He spread her legs and she guided him into her.
Her breath hitch while she became accustomed to the intrusion. He started to slowly thrust in and out of her. "Faster," she breathed out and Sirius complied. They were both breathing hard now and sweat was glistening down Sirius's body. Remus watched in awe-struck horror. "Tell me how much you love my dick," Sirius commanded. Remus could tell that Lily was having a hard time talking, but she managed to get the words out. He felt sick. Bile was rising in his throat.
As the two climaxed in perfect unison and screamed out each other's names, Remus finally regained control of his body and bolted from the room. He didn't even care that Sirius and Lily would notice the door opening. He ran as far as he could until he found himself on the Quidditch field. His knees gave out and the bile finally came out. He threw up until there was nothing left. He dry heaved for several minutes more before finally sitting back. His eyes had watered from vomiting, but they now leaked tears uncontrollably.
Remus sobbed harder than he'd ever sobbed before, including the time he was bitten by Fenrir Greyback. Sirius, his Sirius, was shagging Lily Evans. What was it with that girl that made every body want her? What did she have that he didn't? She's a girl, his mind told him. He knew it was wrong to be angry with her, but he couldn't help it. She had stolen Sirius from him. But that wasn't true. She couldn't steal something Remus never had.
