Summary: Two words - Average much? An average girl living an average town. It couldn't get any more average than that, right? The chances of something exciting happening is slim to none. But, that all changes when two guys come to paint the town red. A girl's life once so average now filled with risks, laughter, tears, sorrows, heartbreaks, and love.

' Thoughts '

An eighteen year old girl sat at her desk during Homeroom, staring out the window, bored out of her mind. The teacher was making the announcement of Homecoming and the Homecoming dance. She snapped out of her daze when she heard the chatter of her classmates.

' Why are they so excited? It's just another stupid dance. ' she thought.

" Daidouji! Go to the dance with me? "

" No, she's gonna go with me! "

" Why would she go with a baboon like you!? "

Sakura looked next to her and sweat dropped at the sight of all the guys surrounding her best friend's desk. She looked at her best friend and wasn't surprised at all the attention she was getting. Daidouji, Tomoyo, also the age of eighteen. With her long raven-colored hair and her lavender eyes, she was always able to get any guy she wanted. Sakura turned back towards the window and looked at herself in the reflection. She had grew out her auburn hair since elementary school and the only thing she liked about herself were her emerald-colored eyes. It's not like she hasn't been asked out before. She just couldn't compare to Tomoyo.

" I'm sorry, but I already have a date to the dance. "

Sakura looked at Tomoyo with a confused face.

' She does? '

The group of guys began to disappear, disappointed that they couldn't get the most popular girl in the school to go with them to the dance.

" How come you didn't tell me you had a date?" asked Sakura.

Tomoyo smiled and replied, " Since I never really did get one. "

" You're mean, Tomoyo! "

" It was the only way to get them to stop bothering me! "

The two laughed and they went back to what they were doing. Sakura went back to staring out the window while Tomoyo continued listening to the teacher.

As soon as it began, school ended and the many students of Tomoeda High rushed out. No one wanting to stay in the midst of the school any longer.

" Sakura! "

Sakura turned around to see Tomoyo running towards her. She watched as Tomoyo tried to catch her breath when she finally caught.

" Let's go to the mall! "

' Oh no. ' Thought Sakura.

Before Sakura could say no, Tomoyo began dragging Sakura towards the direction of the mall.

" Tomoyo! I don't want to go! "

" Please, Sakura! I'll buy you that shirt from Forever 21 you always wanted! "

" …. Fine, but you're also buying me a smoothie. "

Tomoyo smiled and stopped dragging Sakura. They both continued on walking towards the mall, not knowing what awaits them there.

A/N - I apologize to everyone about the shortness of the prologue. I was planning on continuing this and making it the first chapter, but that only gave me a harsh case of writer's block. Again, I apologize. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, please tell me. I'd gladly appreciate it. My attempts at writing stories are really poor.
