Alex went down stairs to met her friend, Harper before school. The two girls were friends since kindergarden till grade 9. They had completly different personalities but they don't seem to care that much. They had a mortal enemy,Gigi, who have humiliated Harper and Alex since kindergarden. Alex hadn't told Harper about magic so it has been difficult to keep it from her. Especially when they have plans, but Alex wouldn't be able to go because of the magic lessons.

" Hey Alex,there's that guy you like!!!", screamed Harper from accrss the sandwich shop.

"Hello, could you be quiet. I don't want Dean to know I like him", cried Alex.

" We should get going. We already missed first period", said Harper.

Once Alex and Harper got to school, Harper saw Dean and yell ed it out to Alex even though she wa standing right beside her.

"Hey Alex,there's that guy you like!!!", screamed Harper from accrss the hallway.

"Are you tring to tell Dean that I like him?",asked Alex angrily

" No what are you saying? Do you want me to tell him because if you are acusing me of doing somehting that I didn't do is, well, it's just plane wrong", replied Harper as she stomped away.

"We're done" screamed Alex after her.

"Hey Alex. I hear you like me. Is it true?",asked a boy standing behind was Dean.

"What?Is that what they said? I don't like you.I mean you're a kool person, but I don't think of you this way", lied Alex as she slowly stepped away, feeling unsure of himself.

The next day at school, Alex walked through the front doors and saw Gigi and the "wannabes" and Harper!!!!!

"Harper!! What are you doing with Gigi!!!", yelled Alex.

"For your information,Alex, they don't accuse me of trying to yell their crushes accross the halls",replied Harper."I have to go now.I'm getting a manicure with Gigi".

"You don't even like getting manicures", yelled Alex, but Harper just ignored her an turned her head and flashed her hair.

Alex follwed Harper to the manicure saloon, and Harper left Gigi to go shopping because she actually did hate getting manicures. As she left, alex follwed her to see what she would do, then she would suprise Harper.

"Hey aren't you at the manicure saloon?Why did you bail on you new BFF's?",asked Alex .

"Um............well-y-you see.....", stuttered Harper as she was trying to think of some excuse as quick as she could, .

"I know you left the saloon because you hate manicures. You're just hanging around Gigi because we're in a fight",Alex fought back.

"Okay, it's true, but-" Harper got cut off.

"It's fine, were friends again, right?, asked Alex as she sighed.

"Always",repiled Harper, gently smiling.

"Are you going to tell Gigi that your out of her group?", questioned Alex.

"No, she said that I was out by the end of the day, but I don't care", replied Harper happily.

" So when you see Dean, you're not going to scream his name from across the room, right",asked Alex.

"Yeah, okay", Harper said.

But what Alex and Harper didn't know was that Gigi heard the whole conversation.

"This is great", thought Gigi."Just wait Alex, the whole school will know that you like Dean in a matter of minutes...."
