Ginny loved the way Harry's Quidditch hardened body pressed against her and how his muscular form seemed to fit perfectly against her petite frame. She looked into his eyes and could feel the love and passion radiating off of his beautiful emerald eyes. She ran her fingers through his soft jet-black hair and thought to herself how half the girls in Hogwarts were probably wishing they could do the same. He smiled lovingly back at her as they both leaned into a kiss. Her lips were millimeters away from his when she was snapped back into reality by a voice she had come to dread in the previous weeks.

"Mornin' Ginny!" came the voice of Dean Thomas. "Good morning" she replied half-heartedly. As much as she wanted her fantasies to be reality, she was still stuck with Dean as her boyfriend. He wasn't as bad as she had made him up to be in her mind. He was just a bit dull. Sure he was a good kisser but Ginny longed to be with someone who was more. She longed for a relationship that was more than physical; she wanted an emotional connection with someone.

She felt terrible stringing him along, even though their connection had faded away over the past month. He really was brave. You had to be if you wanted to date a pretty girl with six very overprotective older brothers. Or you had to be incredibly dumb. It must be the second option because he was never able to tell that they were drifting apart. She decided that instant; she was going to dump Dean and make a move on Harry by the end of the month. With only ten days left until April, she had her work cut out for her.

Even though she expected Harry to be cautious when it came to girls because of his terrible history with them (rejected by Cho, then one crying kiss, then one failed date), she felt she had a shot. She certainly had grown up from the young girl that clammed up and put her elbow into butter dishes every time she saw him. She had grown up from the young girl that needed to be saved in the chamber into a quite powerful young witch. And she was determined to show that to Harry.
