Summery: Well then, when your hot co-worker is approaching you without a shirt, things get complicated.
Pairing: One-sided Hugheswalker
Warnings: Mentions of partial nudity? Nothing that isn't shown in the manga though.
Dedication: My Hughes on Tumblr, for putting this pairing in my head. This is my apology for how hard Knighty is friend zoning youuuu!
Disclaimer: Yeah, right, nope, don't own it.
AN: I LIIIIIIIIIVE! But having issues with getting Word at home, and busy with school, so yeah. But here, have some cute random cracky stuff?
"Crap," Hughes, Captain of the Third Division of the Royal Magic Forces muttered, rubbing his head as he sat up. Yeah, that punch was gonna be felt in the morning. "That was not amazing."
Glancing to the side, he saw the passed out form of Byro, and winced. At least he wasn't the only one who lost at least. He couldn't see Sugarboy though, which didn't worry the young man. After all, the male wouldn't have made it to his position if he weren't capable.
That left two people to wonder about. Pantherlily, who he heard was defending the lacrima from being destroyed, and her. Erza Knightwalker, the only woman in the upper ranks of the army. With a shaky grin, Hughes shook his head, running a hand through his hair. There was no way anyone could beat her. She was the best, after all.
He was getting up, dusting off his burned uniform, when he heard footsteps coming his way. Turning, the male's eyes widened at the sight of the woman he admired so much stalking his way, clutching her lance in one hand and a cloak to her chest with the other.
With her armor missing.
Well… Shit.
Saying that he wasn't attracted to the woman would be a lie, but Hughes had always been careful to keep things professional between them. After all, Erza was known to castrate people who made too many advances towards her, and rejected all others. Edolas was her only love, and she seemed determined to keep it that way.
That didn't change the fact that she was hot as all hell.
"Hughes!" At the bark of his name, the male tore his gaze away from her chest, stomach, skin, to her face. And the look on it was not one he liked seeing. It could only mean one thing; someone was going to die. "The Earthland mages, which way did they go?"
"Umm, well, I know they were talking about stopping the Dragon Chain Cannon." And with that information, Erza was off like a shot, storming in the direction he pointed. Not even so much as thanks for the information, but he was used to this. Once Erza had a goal in mind, nothing could distract her.
It was one of the things he liked about her, after all, so he expected nothing less.
