How the Moon Came To Be
There once was a time when there was no moon, and night was the most terrifying time of day. Till one day Artemis and Apollo were playing marbles when all of a sudden Hera entered the room and scattered all of the marbles around Mt. Olympus. But out of all the marbles only one fell off Mt. Olympus.
The marble was made out of the finest clay on Mt. Olympus. Made by Athena goddess of wisdom and crafts and was a smooth milky white color. That shined in the darkest of darkest nights. It was also the only marble Artemis favored. As it tumbled down to earth Artemis let out a terrifying scream. The marble was her most prized possession but now it was gone.
Time passed on till the day it landed on earth and into the hands of a boy named Alcander. Alcander was a humble kind person and he only cared about others. All he wanted in the world was there were to be light at night.
When Artemis found out about this she was shocked that it landed on earth. But after a while she confronted Alcander. Saying that if he did not give her back the marble he would be turned to ash. But Alcander made up a deal to Artemis.
If he gave her the marble he would get moonlight. Artemis reluctantly agreed and waited till night to do it. When it was night she took the marble threw it into the sky and it glowed. Now forever being the moon it is today.
