Mac sat on her couch as silent tears fell from her eyes. There was no point
in drying her face, for they would be once again tear stained in a matter of
a few seconds.
It had been two weeks not that Harm had left her to go back to fly. She tried
to talk him out of it, hell, everyone did. But, he had his heart set on it,
and there was no way any one could stop him.
The words flew from the radio into Mac ears. As the words struck her, more
tears fell.

As the words kept on, the memories came flooding back. The first time they
kissed. She knew that he wasn't kissing her, but she kissed him. The first
time she knew that she was in love with him. When they were by the river and
we promised to get her out of the danger. "Hey, Mac, why don't we play hooky
on Monday, the fresh air the addenaline rush." She remembered. "I'm 2 for 2
aren't I." She smiled at the memory of him carring her all the way to the
plane.
Now, there would be no more missions with Webb. No more late night pizzas
and going over cases.

punched to button. Now, dead silence flooded the room. Wiping the tears from
her eyes, she made herself stop. "Suck it up Marine." SHe said to herslef.
Then more arrived as she remembered when he said that to her in the MIG.
"I need to get out of here. I need to walk." She told no one. She yanked
open the door and abruptly stopped at the sight before her. She stared
strait ahead, the tears again forming in her eyes. "Hey, Ninja Girl." Was
all he managed to choke out. He had his own tears brimming.
There was too much distance between them. Mac ran to him and wrapped herself
in his embrace. Happy and sad sobbs mac cried against Harm's chest. "Hey, shh.
It's okay." He soothed.
"Harm, tell me that this is forever. I can't stand you leaving me again. You
have no idea how you leaving killed me. Please tell me that you're not leaving
again." She cried between sobbs. "It's forever, Sarah. I'm here to stay. I
promise." She looked up at him, tears still in both of their eyes.
"I love you so much, Sarah. I do know how you felt when I left. I felt the
same way. It just took me a little while longer to realize it." He pulled her
into his arms again and held her tight. He never wanted to let go.
"I love you too, Harm." She whispered in his ear.
