People often wonder what darkness looks like. They say it's hidden from our daily lives. But what if that ain't true?
What if darkness is all around us, all you have to do is look for it.
In the mind of a child, darkness is a scary thing hiding under the bed or in their closets. But is that thought so strange?
Or is it true that darkness resides in our everyday enviroments?
Screaming pierces the air, a woman is absolutely terrified as she takes in the massive form of the man in front of her. His claws pierce her heart and she gasps as she looks down, blood stains her clothing and runs down over her pregnant stomach.
Her baby, what will happen to it now that she's dying? Her little John would never breathe in the sweet, fresh air. He would never see the world with his own eyes. And all because she couldn't protect her baby.
She falls down backwards and let out a last breath as she landed on the hard wooden floor. The man smiled and bend over the now dead woman, his claws easily cut through her clothing and flesh. He pulled out a small babe, who's mixed features were as clear as the difference between day and night. The child let out a piercing wail as he was lifted from his mothers womb. And the man just smiled wider, when three black claws came out of the babes arm. He had been right, this was the one and only child of his enemy, the only son of the Wolverine.
