Hermione sat in the library hovering over the dusty in the entire school. Back in school to finish her seventh year she was the oldest student there, it was even harder for her to fit in with the other girls, also with Harry and Ron off rounding up the last of the deatheaters she was truly alone. Therefore the old dusty book in front of her was her only friend. She sighed, thumping her head against the moldy book. F-Foosh F-ooosh! Hermione's head shot up searching the empty library for the source of the strange sound. Row by row there was nothing, Foosh! The sound was coming from the restricted section. Nervously she she entered, in the third row from the left stood a large blue box.
The Doctor laughed pulling down random nobs in the Tardis. He turned towards the door and laughed again. "Swimingly! That Went Swimingly!" He looked around the empty Tardis and his smile faded. "Well maybe not that swimingly." The lack of companionship was beginning to eat at one of his two hearts and he found himself rather lonely. "Better go take look." He threw open the door the moment Hermione Granger finally worked up enough courage to try and open it.
Hermione's heart leaped out of her chest as a man jumped out the blue box. Both taken by surprise they screamed. "How Did You Get In Her?!" She screamed breathlessly. The Doctor shrugged. "I just showed up." Hermione stared at him. "You can't just show up! There's no apparating inside of Hogwarts!" "Hogwarts? Appa-what?" "Who Are You!?" Hermione was completely dumbfounded by the stranger in front of her. "I'm the Doctor." He said. "Doctor Who? A doctor of what?" "Just the Doctor." Hermione put her hand on her hip. "You've got to be a Doctor of something!" "Says who?" "Says everyone!" "No they don't." "Yes they do!" "Prove it!" "My dad's a doctor!" "A doctor of what?" "Teeth!" "Well that doesn't count. He's just a dentist!" Hermione stop to calm her nerves, this man was being ridiculous! She had a full mind to just punch him in the face like she did Draco years ago.
"So where are we?" asked the Doctor as the girl tried to calm herself. "In the restricted section of the library. You're in a school." He looked around. "If it's restricted why are you in here?" Hermione sighed. "It's not restricted to me." "Why's that? Got the Headmaster to rig it for you?" "I'm an honorary student here. I have no restrictions." "Oooh fancy." Hermione gave him a dirty look. "Are you mocking me?" "No. What's your name?" "Hermione Granger." "How old are you Hermione Granger?" She eyed him for a moment. "Turning 19 soon." The doctor smiled. "How would you like to go on an adventure?" Hermione was shocked. "what do you mean?" "Time travel, Space travel, nothing to amazing." "Magic?" The Doctor smiled again. "You could call it that."
Hermione looked back at rows of dusty books. Was she really considering going with this man who wouldn't even tell her his full name. "I can show you something you've never even dreamed about. Though it'll be very dangerous." "When could we come back?" The Doctor turned back to his blue police box and opened it for her. "It's a time machine love." He winked at her. Hermione took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "Ok!" She felt the Doctor pull her in as the door closed behind her.
"It's bigger on the inside."
