"You were my everything. You made my heart sing. There was no one I loved more than you. No doubt about it, it was true. Our hearts used to beat as one. But slowly, we became undone." The French girl murmured and made a face. The only time she became poetic and rhymed was when Jingle was around.

She sighed and pulled the covers closer. She hated the fact she was still letting her break-up bother her.

She rolled over and stared at the ceiling. She had had a lot of other break-ups, so why did this one bother her so much? The answer: She had been in love with him. Even though it had been a week since they said goodbye, it still hurt her to see him. It didn't help they lived in the same house. But there was another reason it was bothering her, the reason they broke up.

Good thing she took all those drama lessons. When everyone was looking, she put on a smile and laughed along with them. But she still hurt inside.

Someone knocked on her door. "Hey, Snow White, you okay?" Jingle asked. Sighing, she tossed the covers aside and opened her door. "Jingle Bells, how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" She asked, a small smile playing on her lips.

She and Jingle often called each other funny nicknames, some annoying, some cute, and some that didn't make much sense. He shrugged. "I dunno, like a hundred?" His grin faded away as he took a closer look at her.

"You look terrible." He said. She rolled her eyes. "Thanks for stating the obvious, Jingles." She had bags under her eyes and her hair was a mess, so sue her.

"You need to get over him." He said quietly. "No duh!" She snapped. "Nina." He said. She sighed. "Sorry." Nina muttered. "Nina, you don't need him. If Stan loved you, he wouldn't have broken up with you." He said.

"If you love two people, chose the second because if you truly loved the first, you wouldn't have fell in love with the second." She whispered. "Nina, what are you talking about?" Jingle asked. She looked at him sadly, tears in her eyes. "We broke up because he was in love with Pashmina. He asked Maxwell for advice and that's the advice he gave him."

"Neeners, I'm so sorry." He said wincing when she flinched at the pet name Stan used to call her. "Jingle…" She was close to crying. Not knowing what to do, he hugged her. That opened the floodgates.

He patted her on the back. "Shhh, it's okay." Jingle whispered soothingly. "It's okay." Nina buried her face in his chest, sobbing. He held her close.

Slowly, she cried herself to sleep. He carefully placed her in her bed, pulling the covers over her. He stood watching her sleep before kissing her forehead. "One day I'll tell her how I feel." He muttered, walking out of her room.

I was thinking about Jingle for no particular reason and I thought he and Nina would make great friends! And a cute couple… Don't get me wrong I still love Stan/Nina!
