I was bored and this was one of my ideas on my list of things to write. Hope you like it!

"Hey everybody! How's it going tonight?" Nick received cheers from the crowd. "Do you mind if I play a new song I've been working on?" Again, the crowd cheered. He knew he wouldn't even play this song to anyone if she wasn't in the crowd.
And she was. Her auburn locks stuck out to him. Her gorgeous smile was present. Her aqua orbs seem to pierce his heart in a good way.
"They say if you love something, set it free, if it doesn't come back, it wasn't meant to be" he stated. "I wrote this song for a special someone after we broke up." He picked up his guitar and began strumming.

Miley immediately started playing with her necklace. Nick had bought it for her before he was this famous and rich. She never took it off. He had to sell his guitar for it. And the minute she found out she insisted him to take it back. But she was glad he didn't.

Nick knew the Gray Brothers wouldn't be as big if Miley had never had them open for her. It was a way for them not to have a long distance relationship and do what they both loved together: perform.

Miley blushed. She had always thought Nick regretted their relationship because it almost ruined their friendship. Now he sat here, singing a song about her. And it cleared up all of her doubts.

Miley regretted telling him she needed time because the next thing she knew, he was dating Selena. So she dated Justin. But she regretted that too. She thought that would make her feel better and it only made it worse. The age difference wasn't right any way.

Nick remembered going to Tybee Island to visit Miley. She had introduced Liam to him. He had originally gone down there to make up and ask her out again but when he saw Liam, he knew she had moved on.

The tears in Miley's eyes were joyful tears. She was glad he didn't hold anything against her. She was thankful for his support and friendship.

Nick flashed his million dollar smile and waved to the crowd. Backstage he sighed. She probably thought he was nuts. He knew she knew the song was about her. She always knew. That was one thing he loved about her.
He opened his dressing room door to reveal an auburn locked, aqua orbed, gorgeous smiled girl. She stood up and walked towards him with her hands behind her back. She whipped her left hand around to reveal a rose.
"I'm glad were friends" She smiled.
"Me too Miles" he replied. He gave her a hug.
So the song was Just to see you smile by Tim McGraw and I change some lyrics so it would be related to Nick and Miley. I kind of like their friend thing. I know this was kind of short but oh well. Please review!
