Gods it's been so long since I worked on this. Well with hope I can continue it. I'm not much into the series anymore but I'm willing to go further and attempt to finish it. Or at least give it a decent ending. So sorry for the few year hiatus. Here's hopping some of you are still waiting. And I hope my writing skills have gotten better since then.

It's been two years since the Liberty Island attack. Two years that Ive been playing dead. Ten years since I left the…. Well.. the old Brotherhood. What did we call them now? The Boarding House dwellers? I never did pay attention. All I knew is that Magneto said they were the unworthy to join the Brotherhood ranks. Unworthy he says. The only unworthy one was me. I mean common, I was the weak link of the whole crew! The youngest. I had the powers of a fucking toad for crying out loud. Not speed, not power over earth, he didn't have immense strength and he defiantly didn't have what was it that Wanda did…. Reality warping? He shook his head either way he didn't have any of that. So why did Magneto choose him over the rest. They were all so pissed off when Magneto came and took me and not them. I was shocked, honored. I was chosen first this time! CHOSEN! Ten years of harsh training. Magneto pushed him to his limits. Broken bones, lacerations, burns, fractures, and at one point near death. But during it all he grew. He grew and evolved. He did recall Magneto giving him an injection or two of this glowing orange liquid and the amount of pain he went though for hours after. Perhaps that's what did it. Was that what made him better? Stronger? Smarter? Maybe so. Still wasn't good enough. Damn X-men. Fucking Storm. What happens to a toad when its struck by lightning huh. He touches the side of his face wincing at the burns still there. The bitch was gonna pay that's for sure.

He kept walking. Where was he headed again? Ah right… the Boarding House. Why he wondered. Why go back there. Familiarity he supposed. He sighed as the house came into view. The lights were still on. That was a good sign. At least someone was awake, Or better yet living there. He honestly didn't know what happened to everyone after he joined up with Magneto. Giving the house a look over it was… nice. Fixed up. Not half dilapidated, a garden even. Maybe they had moved on. Maybe some normal family owned this now. He snuck up to the window looking inside. Huh… All updated furnishings, no trash lying around but no one in sight. He could have sworn he heard talking. He frowns and feels it, the familiar static along his sensitive skin and smirks. Wanda. He braces himself them jumps out of the way back flipping a few times when he feels a change in the wind. Pietro. He puts his hand to the ground feeling the light tremors. Lance. That only left…. A shadow appears over him large both in height and in width. Fred. They were all here. He chuckles then flat out laughs. "Wow…. You guys are all still here after all these years. He pulls down his hood grinning from ear to ear as he looks over all of them. What was it he used to say… ahh right. "Yo."
