Lost

My feet beat endlessly against the ground below,

Never ceasing, never stilling their endless flow.

Through desert sands and storms of deep abyss,

I've been lost before, but not like this.

Winds are chaotic, water is calm

What's wrong with me? Am I a bomb?

Though hunger and thirst bother me now

Weakness in me does not abound.

Where am I going? What will I do?

There's nothing left, if I can't save you.

Lost, lost, forever and ever

I'm feeling worse we're not together.

But, I have to save you, chasing after

Deep into the rafters of the sky

Something I thought I'd never get by.

My feet feel like they're falling off

The snow is real, and very soft.

I want to lie and sleep and stay,

The bleeding at my chest is soft like hay.

Wait, I hear the siren's call

The one that tells me to save them all.

Jumping up and curling in

Just like my distant, wild kin.

Off to save the world again

Happy that to the end,

You are my friend.
