"I was expecting you to be done decorating by now, Draco!" Narcissa Malfoy said, her tone raising with each word.

"I couldn't find a spell to do it for me." Draco said.

"It is nearing the holidays, my son! We do it the Muggle way."

"Why would I do such a thing the way those dirty Muggles do..." Draco asked rhetorically.

"I'm tired of this manor always being dark. Now decorate as I have asked," Narcissa demanded, tossing him a ball of ribbon. "Quickly now, before your father gets home."

"He'll be agitated."

"He'll love it," Narcissa said, finishing up the tree. She flicked her wand at it, and watched as small lights hovered around the tree and lit it up with a pleasant shine.

Draco walked outside, and toward the gate around the manor. He held the lights and ribbon that his mother gave him in one hand, and his wand in the other. He dropped the decorations, and pointed his wand toward them.

"Wingardium Leviosa." He languidly watched as the ribbon levitated itself onto the house. He walked inside, and plopped himself back onto the couch where he sat earlier.

Lucius Malfoy stomped into the house, fuming.

"Who decorated outside?" he asked, darting his eyes between Draco and his mother.

"Draco did," Narcissa said, a smirk on her face.

"Come with me," Lucius said. They walked outside in the cold, standing where Draco stood mere minutes ago. "This is hideous. Have you never learned how to decorate?" Lucius demanded, pointing his wand at the recently hung up ribbon.

Lucius muttered a few spells, and within minutes lit the manor with lights Draco had never dreamed would surround the building.

"That son, is how one decorates a house." He nonchalantly inserted the wand back into its sheath, and walked back into the manor without another word.
