Chapter 1:
Akari,the mysterious girl
InuYasha and the gang were traveling as usual on a nice quiet bright day in thef feudal era.Kagome looked around for shards,sadly,she found none.
"Kagome,do you sense any shards even one?"Miroku asked.
"No,If I did I would of said so though."Kagome said sighing.
"It seems Naraku is planning something big.Its been a while since we last seen him."Sango said with Kirara near her feet.
"I agree."Shippo said with a lollipop Kagome gave him in his mouth.
"Feh,all we need to do it search harder and don't slack off."InuYasha explained.That's when Kagome sensed 16 jewel shards.
"INUYASHA!I SENSE SIXTEEN FRAGMENTS OF THE SACRED JEWEL!"Kagome yelled anxiously.
"It must be Naraku!"InuYasha said excited.Kagome hopped on to InuYasha's back with Shippo on her shoulder,Miroku,Sango in her demon slaying out fit were on a now transformed Kirara.Kagome directed West from when she sensed them.when they went there they saw a girl just sitting in a meadow.she had long black hair that ended to her knees,ice blue eyes,and she had a red torned and burnt Kimono.she had to be sixteen like Sango.the gang looked at her,her aura was the shades of all elements which was new to them.InuYasha being cocky as usually didn't care about it.
"You have the fragments of the jewel don't you?!"InuYasha asked impatiently.
"Why do you want them so badly?"her hurt voice asked.
"Its none of your god damn business,humans like you shouldn't have shards."InuYasha said.
"Humans...like me?"She said turning around as they saw a silver cresent shaped jewel embedded on her head.
"So your not human?"Kagome asked.
"...I don't know what I am,but when I have the sacred jewel I will find out."She said walking away.
"HEY GET BACK HERE!"InuYasha yelled.
"There is something about her...her aura...it seemed dangerous."Sango said.
"Yeah."Miroku agreed.
"Those shades remind me of something."Shippo said.
"What is it?"Kagome asked.
"Green,blue,red,white,grey,black...Earth,Water,Fire,Light,Air,and Dark."Shippo said.
"Earth,Water,Fire,and Air are the 4 elements."Kagome said.
"Yeah but she had light and darkness...which are rare,you can only be born with those."Shippo said.
"So she is from a powerful family?"Sango questioned.
"Hmmm,I guess so."Shippo said.the girl looked at InuYasha with her sad,lonely,and lost ice blue eyes.InuYasha started to feel guilty for his eyes were like that long ago.
"Why do you want to take these shards from me?"The girl asked.
"Because its none of your business."InuYasha said harshly.
"Then I shall keep on going."She said walking away.
"HEY EXCUSE ME!"Kagome said as the raven blacked hair girl turned around towards her.
"What is it?"She asked.
"What is your name?"Kagome asked.
"Akari."She said as air circled her and she disappeared.
"DAMN!"InuYasha yelled out of frustration.
"Akari means light."Miroku said.
"Hmm,that seems to make me wonder more about her."Sango said.
"Too bad she got away."Shippo sighed.
"Her eyes,they are trying to hide a great deal of pain."Kagome said sadly.
