This is an AU Story of what 'might have happened' after Jim and Artie were at the Sanatorium run by Dr Loveless if one of the staff DIDN'T drink the wine that he provided with dinner and what happened afterwards.

1. Chapter 1

This is very much an AU Tag to the episode 'The Night of the Murderous Spring'. It occurred to me re-watching this episode that someone might not have drunk the wine, and what might have happened to them after the episode as Jim and Artie would have had to get rid of the ducks carrying the capsules.

I have re-edited and re-written parts of this fanfic to improve it slightly so I hope that it sits better now.
