Chaud is looking up at the window. It was raining. Yes. It still is raining. He looks forward to the outside of IPC. The sky is dark. Clouds are gathered to make the rain. Chaud sighed. It is already a week since that accident. But the rain still won't go anywhere. Keep staying at DenTown. Joy can't be looked in his blue eyes. His eyes are blank. He was being hurt. Hurt. He always remembers the pain in rainy day. He can't do anything to it. It always and always reminds him with his Net-Navi, Protoman.
'What I've done?' he thought. 'Why it happened to us, Protoman? I can't stand without you. I can't.'
Chaud's pain is hurter than before. He can't believe if Protoman isn't in his side anymore. And the one who do that is HIMSELF.

"Forgive me, Protoman! Dark Chip in! Download!"
It was the most stupid sentence he ever says. He was the one who say that. He was the one who use the Dark Chip. He was the one who made Protoman become a darkloid. Now he is alone. Alone to feel his pain. Alone to regrets because his only bestfriend is gone. Each night he can't sleep. He always thinking and dreaming about Protoman. But it's not a sweet dream, it's always nightmare that haunted his mind. He just cries. He cries in his silent sleep.

"My name is Chaud. What's your name?"
"Nice to meet you, Master Chaud. My name is, Protoman, your Net-Navi. You can ask me whatever you want"
"Waw, cool! Can we be bestfriend Protoman?"
"Sure, as you want it"
It was the first time he met Protoman. He got him coincidentally with his mother buried. He was so sad at that time. He can't smile. He can't enjoy his life anymore. But Protoman changed it. Protoman made him smile. Protoman always protects and follows Chaud. To Chaud, Protoman is like an elder brother. No one separate them. Whatever happens. Chaud so loves Protoman as his brother. Protoman is the only one he can lean on. But now, he is gone. He left Chaud in a guilty.

Some little tears drops from his icy blue eyes. That dual-haired boy is so sad. He misses his Net-Navi. He misses his only brother and bestfriend. His tears drop more and more. He would do anything to save him. He doesn't care if he must die, he just wants to saving Protoman at all.
Knock... Knock…
His office door is knocked from the outside. That is his employee.
"Do come in" Chaud ordered. He still looks at the window.
"Excuse me, Sir" said his employee. "Just now your friend phone to the front office"
"My friend?"
"Yes, Sir. His name is Lan Hikari. He said that he want meet you at 2.00"
'Lan?' he thought. "Then, what he wants to ask? I have no time to meet him. I'm busy"
"But he says it is so important. It's about Mr. Protoman and Vaccine Chip"
'About Protoman?' his eyes grow widened. 'And Vaccine Chip? Could it be…?'
"OK. Tell him that I will wait him in my room"
"Yes, Sir" His employee go back to the front office.
'Vaccine Chip. It's a chip that can bring back data that infected by dark virus. But long time ago, I heard the scientists still can't make it. Are the research done successfully? Or… Are Lan misunderstand a Chip and think it is a Vaccine Chip?' he wondered. He still can't believe but he can't think another way.
'This is the only choice' he wiped his tears and tried to smile. 'I will bring you back Protoman. I promise!'
