Squirrelflight stood over the rocks. The fire roared in her ears, but she stared at Ashfur, the fire barely hurting her. Lionblaze, Hollyleaf and Jayfeather stood cornered on the other side, cornered by Ashfur.
"I loved your Squirrelflight, and I thought you loved me too! Now I will kill your kits to show you how much pain you caused me!" Ashfur spat, his gaze bareing into Squirrelflights fur. Squirrelflight calmly stared back at him, barely caring.
"So do it. That won't kill me. Their not my kits." Squirrelflight hissed at Ashfur. His eyes grew confused then cold again.
"Liar!" Ashfur leapt over the fire and to her. "They are your kits! Your's and Brambleclaw's."
"NO! Their not my kits. So let them go. They are just plain warriors in ThunderClan." Ashur looked at Squirrelflight then at the three siblings who stared at their mother in the same confused expression. Ashfur hissed and stalked away into the fire.

Cinderheart raced into the forest, Lionblaze following. She laughed happily as she felt his hot breath on her pelt. She leapt into the water, the cold waves colloing her off. Lionblaze stopped and stared at her.
"You look like a RiverClan cat. Why don't you catch a fish for me?" Lionblaze joked, his ginger head cocked to one side.
Cinderheart padded up to the shore and shook out her pelt.
"I'm a ThunderClan cat through and through."
Lionblaze purred and nodded, licking her fur dry with his rough tongue.
"I'm glad you are..." Lionblaze said awkwardly but Cinderheart ignored him. Instead she was staring up at the sky. Orange mixed with black, creating a mixture. Lionblaze followed her gaze.
When the daylight comes, I will have to go, but tonight I want to hold you so close... They whispered together and sadly padded back too camp.
