Chapter 1:

Ketchum Residence:
We start this story seeing a young man with brown eyes and black hair getting ready for his journey that starts tomorrow. This young man is 10 year old Ash Ketchum. "Tomorrow I start my journey and I will become the best trainer the world has ever seen." Ash said
Ash hears a knock on his door. "Come in." he said. In walks a brown haired brown eyed woman. She is 30 year old Delia Ketchum Ash's mother. "You all set for tomorrow Ash?" She asked. "Yeah mom. I got everything I need packed." Ash replied. "That's good dear," Delia said "You should get to bed so you can eat breakfast before you leave." "Alright mom,"Ash said "I'll see you in the morning. Night"
Delia replied, "Night Ash."
Ash climbs into bed and dreams of what pokemon he is going to choose.
The next morning:
Ash woke up to the sound of his mom calling him down for breakfast. He quickly got out of bed and took a shower and got ready for the day. He came downstairs and sat at the table and waited for his mom to sit down. "Morning mom,"Ash said. "Morning Ash," Delia replied.
"Breakfast looks really delicious today,"he said. "I thought I would make you a special breakfast," she said, "Considering this will be the last time I get to cook for you for a while."
They dug into their breakfast of bacon, eggs and pancakes. When they finished their breakfast they cleaned up the dishes and Ash gave his mom a kiss on the cheek. Then he left for Professor Oak's Laboratory.
As Ash was walking through Pallet he was taking in the warmth of the morning sunshine. "What a nice day to start my journey." he arrived at Professor Oak's and knocked on the door, but their was no answer. Ash went inside and calls out for Professor Oak and he hears someone snoring as a response. He went to the room that the snoring was coming from and found Professor Oak sleeping.
Ash goes over and shakes the professor awake. Professor Oak's eyes snap open in alarm. He sees Ash standing there and asks "Who are you and what do you want?" Ash replies by saying" Professor its Ash Ketchum and I'm here for my first pokemon."
"Oh well lets get you your pokemon s you can get out of here and start your journey." Oak said " Follow me young man." "Ok professor lead the way." Ash replies
Professor Oak leads Ash to another lab room. "Now there are three types of Pokemon you can choose from." Oak said.
"The first you could choose is the grass type Bulbasaur." He lets out a blue green spotted dinosaur like pokemon on four legs.
"Next we have the fire type Charmander." Out came an orange bipedal salamander with some dinosaur qualities. It had a tail that had a flame at the end of it and it also had a cream colored belly. It was standing on two legs.
"Last we have the water type Squirtle." Professor Oak lets out a light blue bipedal turtle with a brown shell on its back. It was standing on two legs.
"Which pokemon would you like to take on your journey?" Oak asked
" I would like to have….."
