I do not own the Dark-Hunter series. Nor is Simi, or the idea of Daimons, or Apollites. I only own my character, Evan Katsaros.

Thank you to everyone who reads this! I really appreciate it!

It was nighttime, close to morning. A stunning blond man walked around aimlessly, unaware of the lustful stares women gave him. He was tired, unbelievably tired. He hadn't eaten a soul in a week and a half, making him tired, and close to tired. He was tempted to take a woman and eat her soul, but he resisted. He had never wanted to eat souls, ever since he was turned by another Daimon, specifically his girlfriend. He had chosen to die, but she had forced him to eat a soul, damning him forever.

At first he had eaten souls regularly. He was secretly afraid to die. Until a week ago. That bitch had said it was all a ploy to turn him into a Daimon. She was now off turning more Apollites into Daimons. Every time he saw humans, he couldn't eat them, no matter how much he craved their souls.

He turned into an alleyway, wanting to get away from the temptation of human souls. Reaching the wall, his rage broke, as everything he kept back overwhelmed him. He pounded the walls with his fists, breaking holes in the wall and smearing blood on the wall.

"YOU BITCH!" Tears were streaming down his cheeks, which was odd. He shouldn't be able to cry like this, but here he was, sobbing like a child. All he wanted was someone to love him, and not betray him, lead him on, or lie to him.

His vision started to blur. What the hell was going on? He was supposed to be an immortal, powerful, Daimon. This never happened to Daimons!

He collapsed on the ground, his vision now darkening. Morning was coming, and he was about the faint on the ground. What was wrong with him? He passed out, not expecting to wake up again.

He opened his eyes, noticing someone poking him.

"Are you dead? The Simi wants to eat you. You'll taste good with barbecue sauce."

He stood up, brushing the dust off of his suit. He looked around, noticing he was in a heavily shaded area, with virtually no sunlight. He turned to look at her, and was stunned. A gorgeous girl was next to him!

"Awww, you're not dead. Guess Simi can't eat you now."

Wait a minute, why was she speaking about eating him? She must be a Charonte demon. Her name must be Simi then.

"Akri gets mad when Simi tries to eat humans, so Simi should help you go home. "

She was stronger than expected, pulling him towards the sunlight. He resisted, since death by sunlight would be extremely painful.

"I'm Evan. Evan Katsaros. You are?" He was trying to distract her with conversation, but she wasn't paying attention.

"Simi." With a ginormous tug, she pulled him out into the sunlight. He expected to burn, but nothing happened. Instead, the sun's rays gently warmed him.

He stared at his hands, which had sunlight on them. Then he checked himself. Yes, he was still a Daimon. He looked around, noticing the beauty of day.

Evan hugged Simi tightly. "Thank you! I've never experienced sunlight before!"

He kissed her fully on the mouth, feeling passion flow through him.

"How could you not have felt sunlight before? Are you a Daimon?"

Evan nodded, elongating his teeth. In a second, she backed away from him.

"Why aren't you burning? I know, I'll take him to Akri. He'll know what to do."

Simi grabbed Evan's shirt, and quickly teleported away with Evan in tow. He had a feeling he'd rather face burning in the sunlight, then this "Akri" person.
