They see her as some stupid adrenaline junkie with more caffeine in her veins than the coffee they serve during meals. Others merely thought she just had a few screws loose. To Nora, those whispers behind her back were just wisps of smoke in the wind she could care less about.
She cared naught about the criticisms her 'antics' tended to stir. They knew nothing to the why of her depicting herself in such a light or why she kept it up. They knew naught of the troubles and worries burdening her childhood friend despite looking so calm and collected on the outside.
Upon herself, she had decided, to bring cheer to him be it making a mess of herself, rambling on about non-important things and even just being herself during a battle against the Grimm. And even though he looked annoyed or frustrated at her, Nora saw the corner of Ren's mouth quirk upward slightly and a light briefly shine in his eyes before schooling himself into the man his parents were forcing him to be.
That alone was thanks enough in her eyes.
So let them mock her and say what they want. She would always bring forth a smile for Ren as long as they were together.
Not together-together.

My own little contribution to the passing of Ren's VA & creator of the series- even though it made better sense in my head than on paper.
Watching Nora's antics always brought a smile to my face &, as I tried to come up with something to write in tribute for him, I couldn't help but wonder- is she really that loopy or is it just an act?
