Marriage
Pepper and Tony were going to get married in a week and were happy till wits end about it especially Pepper. Tony was happy for himself, but not as much as Pepper was for the two of them. It was December 10th and New York City was up to knee deep in snow. Christmas lights were shinning all over Manhattan and Central Park. Neither Tony or Pepper could believe how beautiful the city was at this time of year, but what they really couldn't believe was that Pepper was due the day after the wedding which was set for December 16th.
December 16
Tony was 20 and Pepper was 19 when they married. After the vows were said and Tony kissed Pepper, Pepper then gave out a blood curtailing moan signaling to Tony that something was wrong with his newly wedded wife.
"Pepper what wrong, are you alright"? Tony asked Pepper.
"Tony".
"Yeah, Pep".
"Tony I think my water just broke".
"Oh, wait what"? Tony said surprised and fearful.
The Hospital.
Tony was with Pepper in her room when Rhodey, Roberta, Howard, Virgil, and a few friends from work were sitting in the waiting room waiting for news on the baby.
Pepper's Room.
Tony had a tight grip on Pepper's hand when she tried pushing out their soon to be new born baby. Pepper almost broke Tony's hand a few time when she pushed struggling to get the baby out of her to get relief the agonizing pain.
After six hours of labor Tony and Pepper's son was born on December 17 at 2:39 am.
The nurse that was holding Tony and Pepper's son gave their son back to Pepper the Nurse then asked Pepper what was the new born baby's name was. Tony and Pepper had agreed on their son's name before the wedding the day before.
"Lawrence Andrew Stark" Pepper told the Nurse.
"Lawrence.? strong name" the Nurse said.
Larry looked just like Tony, Larry had Tony's face, hair, and quite frankly Tony's brain, but he had Pepper's eyes which in Tony's mind made him perfect as well as Pepper's mind as well.
Everyone then came in the room to see Larry, Roberta was the first to grab Larry, but when Roberta grabbed him he started to cry.
"Looks like someone still want to be with their mommy". Roberta said smiling. Basically every time someone reached for Larry he started to cry, but that didn't stop Tony. When Tony grabbed Larry from Pepper, Tony put Larry between his arms and started to rock Larry back an forth Larry then started to giggle in Tony's arms, but Larry never cried in Tony's arms. It's like he knew who his parents were and who were not.
