Dear child I know

How amazing you can be

How you can find good

In everything that you see

How you can acknowledge

Everyone's pain

And how through it all

So loving you remain

And I see so clearly

Through this mask of mine

I see so clearly

How amazingly kind

You are to all

To everyone near

Even to those

Who you don't hold dear

The way you think is so beautiful

And your wise beyond your years

And so out of love

You hide all your fears

You want to be brave

And my child you are

To be a coward

Is not you by far

So one thing you should know

Above it all

Is sweet child of mine

We'll never let you fall

So my angelic girl

I want you to know

That each and every one of us

We all love you so.
