Najika slowly walked towards the school, where everyone hated her no matter what. The only thing she had to hold onto were her memories. Sora was dead, Daichi was too busy to see her, and Akane was always at a photo shoot, shooting a commercial, or on a T.V. show.
In this world you tried, not leaving me behind. There's no other way, I pray to the Gods, let him stay.
Sora wouldn't have wanted her to be alone, he didn't want to leave her to begin with. The doctors couldn't help him though, she had prayed to God to let him stay. Her exact words were "He doesn't have to like me back. I'll give up my dreams, but please let Sora-senpai live."
The memories ease the pain inside. Now I know why.

When Najika thought about Sora she could almost feel him by her side. Only when she was alone would she break down, but she always imagined him with her.

Sometimes she could hear his voice, telling her to move on, at a time like this usually a tear silently rolled down her cheek.

She promised Sora she'd when the National Western Confectionary Contest, her dream, and his also, and she wanted nothing more than to fulfill his dream. She wanted him to know she was still going, still following his dream.
Reminds me again it's worth it all, so I can go home.
She had promised herself she'd go home with a smile, and she couldn't do that without winning the competition.

She snuck through the kitchen to make it class on time, and she remembered the first time she had met Sora, when she had made flan. "I'll make you the best dessert in the whole world, even if you're gone," Najika said aloud.

Every time she thought of him, he was smiling, and they were together, these were the memories she treasured, and she knew she'd love him until the end, no matter what else happened.
